A collision of Western Conference powerhouse squads will happen at the AT&T Center today, Friday, when the San Antonio Spurs try to stay unbeaten at home hosting the Los Angeles Clippers.

Last Wednesday, the Spurs captured their 23rd consecutive home win (franchise-best) blowing out the Washington Wizards, 114–95.

The Spurs were led by the ever-improving forward Kawhi Leonard who tallied 27 points, three rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Following Leonard was All-Star big man LaMarcus Aldridge who replaced veteran forward Tim Duncan, who did not play to rest.

Aldridge scored 14 points that came along with six rebounds, one steal, and one assist in 33 minutes of action.

San Antonio also was helped by reserves who were led by guards Manu Ginobili and Patty Mills who scored 11 points each.

Veteran point guard Tony Parker played big in the win as well, recording a double-double 10 points and 10 assists, also having four rebounds, one steal, and one block.

The victory was the Spurs' 14th straight at the AT&T Center this 2015–16 regular season, it also gave them a four-game winning streak.

Currently, the Spurs are the second best team in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Western Conference with a 22–5 record, only behind the very dominant Golden State Warriors (25–1).

Meanwhile, the Clippers are also riding a winning streak (three games) heading to today's game and will try to be the first team this season to capture the elusive win at the AT&T Center.

Los Angeles is fourth in the West with a 16–10 record and extended its winning streak Wednesday with a 103–90 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

All-Star point guard Chris Paul led Lob City against Milwaukee having 21 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and two steals.

Paul's backcourt buddy, guard J.J. Redick, also shone in the victory, contributing 19 points, three assists, and one steal.
