'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' cast news: Future looks dim for Benzino and Althea, fake pregnancy rumors hound Stevie J and Joseline
More drama is happening over at "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" even before the reality show starts filming this month.
First, there is this casting dilemma involving Benzino and his lady love Althea Heart. According to rumors, the record producer and his fiancée are not invited to return for the show's season 4 because their co-stars Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez allegedly influenced the executives to boot them out from the series.
The rumors started after Benzino posted a message on his Instagram account saying that he heard some news saying that his friend-turned-enemy Stevie J and his wife Joseline have been asking Mona Scott-Young, one of the show's executive producers, not to put him back on the show. He later deleted the post, but Urban Belle managed to get a screen grab of it.
Other reports mentioned that the franchise executives are not keen on bringing the couple back for season 4 because of Althea's demands to be a paid cast member. She got a recurring role in season 3 as an unpaid guest for being Benzino's fiancée. However, the executives reportedly feel that their demand is not a good idea.
There are also reports saying that the hip hop producer is furious with the entertainment website Fameolous for insinuating that he was begging Stevie J to talk to Mona Scott to bring them back on board. Benzino posted an angry tweet on his Twitter account to tell the website to stop spreading rumors about "begging" and warned them that he could sue if they do not recant their story.
Meanwhile, a "Love & Hip Hop" official said that there is no final word yet about Benzino and Althea's status in the franchise.
On the other hand, Stevie J and Joseline have a controversy of their own. The hip hop artist earlier announced during an interview with a show at the V100.7 radio station that his Puerto Rican wife is pregnant. However, a source close to the couple said that Joseline is not really pregnant.
According to the source, the couple and Mona Scott played with the pregnancy angle to make the couple relevant.
Both Stevie and Joseline have not commented about the fake pregnancy rumors as of the moment.
"Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" will start its fourth season production this October, but the release date for the premiere episode is yet to be announced.
