Manny Pacquiao next fight: Manager Bob Arum dishes upcoming fights, including Juan Manuel and Ruslan Provodnikov

Top Rank manager Bob Arum recently confirmed Manny Pacquiao's upcoming fights this year, after the "Boxing Champ" signed an extension under his management.

Despite rumors that Pacquiao will be retiring soon, it has been confirmed that the boxing superstar signed an additional two more years with Top Rank Promotions, Yard Barker reported.

Unfortunately, his extension with the promotions company means that his much-awaited fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. may still be in jeopardy. With Arum seemingly acting as the biggest blockage to the fight, fans of Pacquiao are hopeful his upcoming matches this year will be up to par.

Meanwhile, Arum confirmed that even if this is the case, his client will still battle against some of the biggest names in the boxing industry.

"I am very proud of Manny not only for his accomplishments on the ring, but how he matured and how he's developed. What a great person he is," Arum said, according to ABS CNS News.

Arum also confirmed that as of late, three of the biggest names in the industry are already in the talks of a possible match against the "Pound for Pound King."

Although nothing has been finalized as of the moment, Arum revealed, "Juan Manuel has not committed yet to the fight. I'll have the opportunity to speak with him maybe as soon as next week because I invited Juan Manuel and his wife to come to Macau so we have plenty of time to discuss it."

If everything goes as expected, Juan Manuel and Pacquiao will most likely come face to face in November.

Arum has also revealed that Pacquiao may fight against Russian boxer Ruslan Provodnikov. "Ruslan is fighting on June 14 on HBO. It will be shown in the Philippines and so he is a potential opponent," Arum shared.
