'Mass Effect: Andromeda' release date news: Collector's edition imminent? Trailer releasing fall

EA offered a sneak-peek at its upcoming game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," last month during EA Play. Developer Bioware, meanwhile, confirmed that a longer game trailer can be expected this fall. Additionally, it also hinted that a collector's edition may also be announced during the same time period.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" fans were a little bit disappointed after seeing the short video clip prepared by the developer, which is actually more of a behind-the-scenes and cinematic video rather than a game play video. However, game designer Ian Frazier promised fans that a little longer will be shown in the near feature.

He said, "In the fall you should see a great deal more than 2 min. Until then, we're full steam ahead!"

Fans are speculating that a full reveal will happen on the N7 day, or November 7, MovieNewsGuide reported.

The report also mentioned that a fan asked studio producer Michael Gamble about the possibility of a collector's edition. He replied "More news on that in the fall!"

The team behind game is dead serious about bringing science and technology into their game. The studio may consider taking the point of view of scientists and astronomers in order to have that scientific accuracy even if it is just a game, GamingBolt reported.

The very short trailer didn't escape the scrutiny of the fans either. The short trailer that was showed last month featured 12 ships searching for a new home, and one is named Hyperion. This is said to be where the game will be concentrated. When associated with Helios, it becomes stronger. This is all about Greek mythology. Fans will be able to understand it fully when the game arrives, and a Helius Cluster story arc will divulge it all, University Herald stated.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to arrive in early 2017 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
