Game directer, producer and designer Hideo Kojima has been keeping fans up to speed with the production of the much-awaited open world action-adventure stealth video game, "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." In his Twitter account, he shared quite a few images from the PS4 playtest of the game that is under heavy construction at the moment. He also informed his followers that his team is putting the game together.

The images show Snake aboard helicopters, Snake riding a horse, and there's one (maybe two or more) snap wherein he wears the notorious chicken hat. Kojima proudly revealed the garb, all fashion-revolting and eye-catching, during a live stream on Christmas Day. Fans were treated with (or compelled to watch) three long hours of video featuring "Metal Gear Solid" gizmos and doodads. In the end, by the 2:44:00 mark to be exact, Gamebolt realized that the people who hoped for a bigger detail about the game were severely trolled by the game creator.

It turns out that the lengthy stream was the unveiling of the wearable feature. Players who would like to put on the poultry-themed head gear will have to fail manifold times in a mission. Failing too many times is deemed unacceptable, and the game will offer them the chicken hat. As horrendous as it is, donning the chicken hat will help players navigate through the game and beat enemies by being nearly invisible to them.

Apart from the inimitable wear, there are various weather systems that will run in "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." This is not substantiated at the moment but Gamebolt puts its money on its possibility with the help of some info foraged from "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes." To be spread out dynamically, there will be sunny days or cloudy hours. At times, battling under rain will come about and even sandstorms will pay visits. There will be times it will be foggy and pouring, another version of rainy.

"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" has yet to get a launch date. However, an alleged leak cited by IGN reveals that the installment, which will be available on both the Xbox One and PS4 consoles, may just come to light by summer 2015.
