The Surface Pro 4, Microsoft's newest hybrid iteration, is reportedly coming in two versions. According to Digitimes, one model will don the standard 12-inch screen, and the other will have a much bigger display stretching to 13 or 14 inches. 

While the difference isn't all that much, Design & Trend says that users who will opt for the larger screen will enjoy the benefit of having superior reins on the elaborate gesture controls integrated into Windows 10, which will be on board the devices. 

Digitimes did not go into detail as far as specs go, although it did say that the processor under the hood will be of "high-end" makings. This leads many to speculate that the tablet will be driven by an Intel Skylake processor. This chipset is the newest and most powerful in its lineup and promises greater power efficiency and a boost in performance. Intel Skylake allegedly comes in Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 variants, which would make it to the different models of the Surface Pro 4 as well. 

Apart from the different cores of the chipsets, the upcoming 2-in-1 device is expected to come with varying RAM capacities, the highest of which is purportedly 16 GB. Storage-wise, the highly-anticipated hybrid could pack 1 TB of space. This one will serve as the premium model. 

Microsoft wouldn't forget the signature S-Pen, with some improvements to match the new device. 

It remains to be seen what the Surface Pro 4 is capable of but fans won't have to wait that long to find out, if reports about its Oct. 19 release with two new Lumia flagships and Band 2 are accurate.
