National Hockey League (NHL) player Mike Fisher is one sweet husband. When his wife Carrie Underwood released her latest album "Storyteller," the doting husband wasted no time in expressing his pride over her talent and dedication.

On his Instagram account (@mfisher1212), the hockey player shared a photo of his wife's new album and wrote, "Very proud of my girl for all the hard work put into this album. God has blessed her with an amazing gift and it's awesome to see her use it to inspire others!"

It is very obvious that Fisher is a huge fan of Underwood's work, and in her new album, he has already developed a preference for the song "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted."

"He likes the ones that are about him," Underwood laughingly told The Boot. "He definitely likes things that are more spiritual and serious — you know, the things that people can hear and be inspired or encouraged by."

On the other hand, Fisher is not a huge fan of Underwood's edgier songs. However, he still does not hesitate in giving her creative support.

Both Fisher and Underwood are well known for their deep Christian faith, but Underwood admitted that it is not reflected much in her "Storyteller" album.

"It didn't quite happen," the singer said about infusing her faith into her music. According to her, "Storyteller" is "in general a little more relational and about real life."

"I'm never going to force it and say, 'We need a faith-based song,' because it will work its way into my career regardless because that's part of me," she further explained. "But it didn't quite happen this time."

Underwood's well-known Christian songs include "Jesus Take the Wheel" and "Something in the Water."
