'Minecraft 1.8 Update' news; Game fails Sony PS4 certification testing
'Minecraft' PS4 version failed the Sony certification testing when 4J Studios sent the game over. Because of this, the release date of the game will be moved, so fans can expect some delay.
4J Studios took to Twitter to announce that they have to repeat the process because the game didn't pass the certification testing. The tweet said, "Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of MinecraftPS4L We're fixing, but we need to go through the process again."
It is obvious that 4J Studios didn't give exact details on the problem, especially how long the delay will take. However, 4J Studios is also keeping things discreet with the updates for the Xbox One edition and PS Vita edition. The players are already complaining about the lack of updates. The updates for the versions are set for release on August 2014, but with the looks of things, the updates will be delayed.
On the other hand, "Minecraft" players on PC have good news from Mojang. The "Minecraft 1.8 update" will be available for pre-release and this update will have plenty of new things to offer.
In the Mojang official website, Mojang stated: "These changes consist of both new features, and large game structure changes such as replacing the hard-coded 'block renderer' with a system that is able to read block shapes from data files, or performance enhancements such as multi-threading the client-side chunk rendering."
The "Minecraft" 1.8 update is set for release on September 2. According to IBT, changes in the game will include Iron Trapdoor, Slime Block, Granite, Andesite and Diorite stone blocks with smooth versions, Red Sandstone, Prismarine and Sea Lantern blocks, Red Sandstone, Armor Stands, Banners, Coarse Dirt, Endermite mob, Guardian mobs with item drops, rabbit with item drops, mutton and cooked mutton.
In addition, the game will have spectator game mode, customized world type, new commands, new achievement, new player model, new options for configuration and hidden debug mode world type.
