A brand new patch for Minecraft is expected to be made available this March. This was confirmed by Mojang through its website after Xbox users encountered an array of bugs. With the new patch, the reported bugs should be properly addressed.

Actually, Title Update 21 was set to be released in the year although it was not mentioned exactly when. But it seems that the Xbox consoles will be getting the update ahead of other versions for the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.

Thanks to the efforts of Mojang, a site which monitors Minecraft issues, Searge game developers were able to keep track of the problem and immediately formed a team to work on the issue.

With the pre-release program used by Mojang for multiple bug testing for the game, it was found that the issue was traced to a server patch that accompanied it. The actual bugs were reported through the Minecraft issue tracker.

The upcoming TU21 will try to fix all in-game issues primarily affecting Microsoft and Playstation platforms. However the patch promises to bring in more than just fixes.

Aside from the fixes, TU21 may carry a lot of new things to Minecraft as well. Though they were not enumerated, the biggest bonus of them all is perhaps the Biomes. Biomes are regions in Minecraft which feature various geographics.

Among the regions to expect through the Biomes bonus are Mesa, Savannah, Roofed Forest and so on.

For the new features, gamers can look forward to new fish, blocks, potions and trees once the patch has been applied.
