Motorola Mobility finally unveiled its new Moto X Play and Moto G (3^rd gen) smartphone last month. According to GSM Arena, the Moto G (3^rd gen) is now available for purchase, while the Moto X Play is expected to roll out this month.

Techno Buffalo reports that the Moto X Play is available for pre-orders on one of the retailers in the United Kingdom. Among the other new Motorola handsets recently unveiled, the report adds that the Moto X Play will be the only phone that won't make its way into the U.S. market.

In terms of the specifications, here's the difference between Motorola's Moto X Play and Moto G (3^rd gen) handset.

The Moto X Play sports a 5.5-inch capacitive display screen with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This phone has a very sharp 21-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

On the other hand, the new Moto G sports a smaller 5-inch IPS LCD display screen with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, and is also protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the front and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well.

Under the hood, the Moto X Play comes with a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 quad-core processor, a 2GB RAM, and up to 32GB built-in memory. There is also a 16GB internal memory option for the device, according to GSM Arena.

As for the new Moto G handset, it packs a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. The device is also available in two internal memory options. One model offers only 1GB RAM and 8GB memory, while the other model has 2GB RAM and a larger 16GB memory.

For the battery, the Moto X Play is powered by a massive 3,630 mAh battery, while the Moto G (3^rd gen) has a smaller 2,470 mAh battery.
