The "Naruto Shippuden" series is nearing its end. The upcoming episode 483 is going to build up the events of the grand finale by taking a quick detour and tell the childhood stories of two legendary ninjas: Jiraiya and Kakashi.

Kakashi has been a staple of the series since the very beginning, back when Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke were still young. He was their team leader, and he eventually became the sixth Hokage before the end of the manga series. However, as per a report from Game N Guide, he didn't have a very good childhood.

While Kakashi is known as a legendary ninja, his father committed suicide when Kakashi was still a boy, and this had always caused trouble for him. His father killed himself after being such a failure, and because of this, Kakashi swore to become a highly skilled, by-the-book ninja master.

Jiraiya, on the other hand, had always been considered a candidate for the position of Hokage, but he always turned it down. He has also been portrayed as a perverted hermit, but he is also a legendary sannin, who are often considered as one of the three greatest ninjas of all time, along with Orochimaru and Tsunade.

His story is going to focus on his jovial nature and how he, as a younger ninja, became the legend that he is known during the present day. It is speculated that he holds a dark secret, something depressing or troubling, but he is always able to hide it with a smile.

Following this episode, the series will then begin working on adapting the final story arc. There are rumors that the "Boruto: The Next Generation" manga is going to be adapted into an anime series and become the successor of the "Naruto Shippuden" series, but there are no confirmations of this yet from the studios.
