BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America announced that it will hold another open beta for "Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker" in the future after players experienced server issues on the game's first open beta.

BANDAI NAMCO announced the news in a Twitter post on Feb. 26. The game publisher started its announcement by thanking all of the players who participated in the "Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker's" open beta. The publisher of the game said that they were able to stress test the servers with the help of the players' participation. It acknowledged and identified the server issues experienced by players, however, they were not able to fix the said issues despite the different maintenances they made.

The game publisher then apologized for the inconveniences brought about by their inability to fix the issues. It promised that the game's development team will work on new fixes and different online improvements. Moreover, a new open beta will be held in the future to ensure that the game will no longer face server issues and to provide a better online experience for players. 

The announcement was made following a Reddit thread in which open beta players claimed they have experienced server issues while playing. While players said that stress testing the servers is bound to introduce problems, they called out BANDAI NAMCO for the publisher's lack of communication. Players found the publisher's silence frustrating as BANDAI NAMCO should have posted updates to estimate the time the server issues will be resolved.

The first open beta for "Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker" happened on Feb. 23 to Feb. 25. The open beta introduced a Hidden Sand stage as a new battleground wherein ninjutsu is required to make the most out of the map. Players who took part in the open beta received a special T-shirt for their avatar. 

BANDAI NAMCO has yet to announce a release date for "Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker."
