'Nashville' season 3 spoilers: Juliette and Rayna plan a star-studded baby shower in episode 17

Juliette gets into a fit of rage in Nashville season 3 episode 17ABC

Juliette Barnes, played by Hayden Panettiere, hasn't been making much of a splash in season 3 of "Nashville," but episode 17 makes up for that by focusing most of its plot and screen time on her.

Panattiere had to temporarily leave the show for her real-life pregnancy and delivery, but her character in the show is still pregnant. Episode 17 titled "This Just Ain't a Good Day for Leavin'" deals with the hassle Juliette will go through as she and Rayna, played by Connie Britton, plan a star-studded baby shower.

Unfortunately for Juliette, a lot of problems ensue when Rayna gets pulled into Sadie's drama.

Juliette has already been shown to be a bit hysterical whenever she doesn't get what she wants, and the new promotional trailer for episode 17 hints that she'll go on a rampage, possibly due to pregnancy hormones and the difficult situation that Rayna drops on her shoulders.

It is also hinted that Juliette may get into labor right in the middle of her rant.

Despite this, it does appear that Rayna has good reasons for sticking with Sadie, played by Laura Benanti. Back in episode 16, it was revealed that Sadie might have murdered Pete, her ex-husband. It is still unknown if he is dead or alive but the synopsis indicates that Sadie "finds a kindred spirit in an old friend." All the details point to Rayna as that "old friend."

Luke, played by Will Chase, discovered Sadie with a gun standing over her ex-husband's body so there is going to be a lot on his mind as he dukes it out with Bucky to sign a deal with rising star Ron Pope, played by himself as a guest appearance for the episode.

On the other side of the spectrum, Gunnar realizes he still has feelings for Scarlett but she is growing closer and closer to Dr. Rand.

"Nashville" season 3 episode 17 is scheduled to air on April 8 on ABC.
