Fans of NBA games are anticipating the release of the upcoming "NBA 2K16," a part of the "NBA 2K" game franchise.

The game will be officially released on Sept. 29 and will be available in various platforms including PlayStation 3 (PS3), PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows.

In the game, NBA stars are rated by player ratings and this appears to be important for the actual basketball players themselves because this way, they get to assess their performance through the video game.

Of course, "NBA 2K16" players would definitely choose the NBA player who has a high player rating. Design&Trend and Ronnie2K reveal some of the player ratings for NBA stars.

First up, is Kevin Durant, who is reportedly the highest rated star with 91 overall rating.

Andre Drummond comes with an 83, while Isaiah Thomas has 81. Thomas even took to Twitter jokingly why he only has an 81.

Meanwhile, Hassan Whiteside got an 81 as well, which he is thankful for. According to Whiteside, he's thanking the game for including him as one of those who got an above 80 rating.

Meanwhile, game developer Visual Concepts has already revealed the features that will come with the new game and fans are getting excited about them.

"NBA 2K16" is set to have a feature called MyLeague Online. Gospel Herald noted that MyLeague is one of the most highlighted feature of "NBA 2K15," but upon the arrival of the next game, the feature can be taken online.

Furthermore, up to 30 game players will get the chance to show off their basketball skills in MyLeague.

Team Relocation is another new feature for 2K16. The player of the game serves as the team owner and with this new feature, the player can move the team from their city to a different big city in North America. But in order to be able to relocate a team, a player needs to pass a criteria.

Other features incorporated to the new game include SimCast Live, Division and Conference Realignment, and better stat-tracking.

Sept. 29 is a date to be excited about but in the meantime, a free demo will be released on Sept. 15 featuring the newest game mode Live Pro-Am, BleacherReport reported.
