MyCareer mode is routinely one of the most eagerly anticipated features included in "NBA 2K" games. This year's version looks to provide players with a more engrossing experience.

The details of MyCareer mode in "NBA 2K16" were revealed in the newest trailer for the game known as "The Whole Story," according to iDigital Times.

According to the trailer, the player's journey will start out from their time as a high school standout. From there, the player will have to decide which college they will attend and even who they keep around as part of their inner circle as they eventually make their way into the NBA.

"NBA 2K16" will also present players with a main hub for their activities known as "My Court." This element of MyCareer mode in the game will be fully customizable, meaning players can choose everything from the paint used on the walls to what graphic is on center court.

Players will also be able to display all of their MyCareer mode accomplishments and even their extensive shoe collection in My Court.

My Court can also be used to launch other modes such as 2K Pro Am or players can simply invite some of their friends to enjoy some pickup basketball on their own home turf.

Off-days will become integral to "NBA 2K16" and players may even end up spending more of their actual time completing activities during these dates on the calendar than when they have games to play, according to Gamespot.

During off days, players may need to fulfill certain provisions of endorsement deals they have signed or they can also choose to connect with NBA players and legends to gain some in-game bonuses.

Players can also spend their rest days in "NBA 2K16's" live practice mode to hone their basketball skills and spend time together with their teammates and coaches.

"NBA 2K16" will be released on Sept. 29.
