For avid fans of the "NBA" franchise by 2K Games, one of the most important things is earning VC, or virtual currency. Enough VCs in-game translates to powered-up players, better gear, and other "NBA" perks. With the release of the newest installment in the series, "NBA 2K16," hardcore fans are now looking for ways to harvest enough VC to get their gameplay to a whole new level.

According to industry observer Gamepur, there is a glitch in the current "NBA" title that players can exploit: farming and harvesting virtual currency faster. There are two ways for players to exploit the VC glitch, depending on the game modes.

One way of harvesting enough VC is through a fan favorite, the MyCareer mode. To start, players must set up the game to at least a Hall of Fame difficulty and then select either 6- or -12-minute quarters. Playing a game in these settings will reward players with virtual currency with no set limits. Players would need to repeat the process in order to save up a good amount of VC using this process as simulated games net about 600 virtual currency per game.

Meanwhile, another feature in the title, MyPark online mode, can also be exploited. To earn a huge number of virtual currency, players need to play in a 3-man Got Next Spot and then quit the game. Getting back into the players' home courts will net them the VC even if the game has been ruined. However, since this is an online feature, quitting games may have an adverse effect, particularly on the player's online reputations.

"NBA 2K16" is now available for both older and current-gen platforms, as well as for Windows PC.
