NBA trade rumors 2015: Milwaukee Bucks put Miles Plumlee in the market

After showing promise when he was still with the Phoenix Suns, Miles Plumlee has simply not been the same player since joining the Milwaukee Bucks.

Plumlee was part of that three-team trade involving the Bucks, Suns, and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Plumlee and Tyle Ennis ended up with the Bucks along with Michael Carter-Williams as the Phoenix acquire Brandon Knight and a couple of future first rounders.

In Phoenix, Plumlee was someone who had averages of 8.1 points and 7.8 rebounds, which are not exactly highlight numbers but are still something to rely on. And rather than improve on that with the Bucks, it was the exact opposite.

The former Duke University big man saw his numbers severely decline. With the Bucks, Plumlee saw a significant drop in numbers with only 1.3 points and 1.3 rebounds, while seeing only 6.3 minutes of action.

So with Dec. 15 being the date when teams are likely to start moving some players, Plumlee is seen as someone who may eventually be let go.

At 9–14, the Bucks are looking for someone who can provide a difference as head coach Jason Kidd and his troops seek to improve their standing and make a serious go at a possible postseason slot.

For Plumlee, a trade could work to his advantage as well, seeing that he is unlikely to prosper with the Bucks.

Although he may not be the superstar caliber player that teams are looking for, the young 6-foot-11-inch center/forward could still be of use to teams in search of a role player.

At only 27-years-old, Plumlee is far from finished and all he would perhaps need by now is someone to guide him and invest in the development angle to make him a better force in the middle.

But the question right now is which team will take a chance on the former Blue Devil and 26th overall draft pick of the Indiana Pacers back in the 2012 NBA Draft?
