Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will find himself on the other side of the police tape in the next episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 7.

In the episode titled "Internal Affairs," Deeks is investigated for the murder of his former partner Francis Boyle.

The trailer shows Deeks having a hard time inside an interrogation room despite knowing all the tricks and trade of a police investigation.

At one point during the promo trailer, Boyle's other former partner Bruce Steadman (Nick Chinlund) attacks him and warns that he will make him pay if he really killed Boyle. Meanwhile, his interrogator claims that he often brings chaos wherever he goes.

E! News earlier talked to Olsen regarding Deeks's brush with the authorities. The actor confessed that he was also confused about his character's involvement in the case. "We don't know what his role in any of this was. We know there are events that have taken place," Olsen explained. "Is he the catalyst for that or is he a victim of circumstances?"

Since the events surrounding Boyle's death happened several years ago, Olsen revealed that his character will have a hard time proving his innocence.

"The first instinct he has is this is a witch hunt, and whatever role Deeks played in this is a different role than whatever it is that they're trying to pin on him. There are so many clouded moments in the events that it's hard to define the character by what he did or did not do," Olsen revealed.

But his team at NCIS will not let Deeks face his problems all alone. According to the synopsis for the episode, Hetty (Linda Hunt) will instruct the rest of the team to help Deeks prove his innocence.

"NCIS: LA" season 7 episode 10 airs Monday, Dec.7, on CBS.
