This will be the final week the Patriots will have to cope without Tom Brady, who will be available for selection from Week 5. However, saying the Patriots are "coping" without Brady is a massive understatement, as they come into Week 4 on 3-0 looking to maintain their 100 percent start to the new season today.

The story of the quarterback position for New England this season has been at times more dramatic than their games. With Brady out, Jimmy Garoppolo stepped up in a big way as the Patriots won their opening two games. But a Week 2 injury against the Miami Dolphins meant that third-string quarterback Jacoby Brissett was sent into the firing line last week.

Much was made of how the third round pick quarterback would be able to stand up against the Houston Texans, who were at that point undefeated, and who had one of the fiercest defenses in the league. Many were concerned that things were about to fall apart for the Patriots.

However, Brissett stepped in and stepped up, overseeing a complete demolition of the Texans 27-0. But even the most faithful of Patriots fans must have panicked when Brissett injured his thumb in last Thursday's game. Initial reports were that he may need surgery, and that led to speculation that the Patriots would be without a single healthy quarterback on their roster, which would have meant receiver Julian Edelman - a college quarterback with just one NFL pass attempt - likely to be called upon for Week 4.

But again, things seem to be working out nicely for the Patriots, as the latest news is that both Garappolo and Brissett may be available for today's game, which means Edelman and thousands of Patriots fans can relax again and breathe a sigh of relief.

New England will be massive favorites to get through the first quarter of the regular season today on 4-0, and with Brady set to be back next week, things are looking good for the Patriots.

Earlier this week on NFL Monday Night Football, the Bengals fought their way back to 2-2 with a solid victory over the Miami Dolphins. After a tight first quarter that ended 10-7 to the Bengals, Cincinnati never looked back.

Through the next three quarters the Bengals successfully and brutally shutdown the Dolphins offense, which allowed their own offense to pick off points to slowly extend their lead and gain a comfortable win.

A.J. Green got 10 catches for 173 yards and a touchdown int he game to lead the Bengals back to 2-2 after two straight losses.

Speaking about getting back to his best after a lackluster display against the Denver Broncos in Week 3, Green said, "I hold myself to a very high standard. I know what I'm capable of. Last week I didn't perform to that level. I had to refocus on a short week."

Meanwhile, the Dolphins were unable to gain any traction in offense, and after three quarters the Miami offense had just 152 total yards, compared to Green's 166 to his name alone.

Miami's Ryan Tannehill did pull off a 74 yard touchdown pass to Kenny Stills on their second play, but apart from that there was little to cheer for the Dolphins offense.

Tennehill finished with 15 of 25 for 189 yards for one touchdown, one interception, a fumble and five sacks.

He said, "Not a lot worked. We really didn't do anything well. It was one of our worst performances from our offense in a long time."
