The New England Patriots will host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in a huge game for Week 2 of the NFL 2016 regular season. The game has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET and takes place from the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

The Patriots managed to record an impressive road win over the Arizona Cardinals last week to get their season started with a victory. The absence of some of Tom Brady's stature will obvious make things harder for them, but a road win against one of the strongest teams in the NFL this year was the perfect start to give the team confidence moving forward.

The Patriots got off to a quick start, ending the first quarter 10-0, and it was a lead they would not relinquish despite the Cardinals applying huge pressure through the final three quarters of the game.

The Dolphins meanwhile will be entering Week 2 in disappointment after losing a very tight game against the Seattle Seahawks in their season opener. Going on the road to CenturyLink Field is always a huge ask for any team, but the Dolphins almost managed to steal the win. But in the end the low scoring contest ended 12-10 to the Seahawks.

Miami will be hoping to go one better today and claim the win, but against a team as strong as the Patriots, they will have to play out of their skins to avoid starting the season 0-2.

Earlier this week on Thursday Night Football the New York Jets achieved their first win of the season as they defeated their in-state rivals, the Buffalo Bills 37-31.

The Jets had opened up their season with a disappointing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, where they looked like they were still in pre-season. However, the Jets woke up on Thursday night, and put on a much more explosive display.

Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed an impressive 24 of 34 passes for 374 yards as he took apart the Bills' secondary with the help of wide receivers Eric Decker, Brandon Marshall and Quincy Enunwa.

Decker put on a stellar performance with six catches and a touchdown, and moved to 18 straight games recording at least 80 receiving yards or a touchdown.

Marshall meanwhile also had a fantastic game, recording six catches for 101 yards. He did give the Jets a scare in the second quarter when he went down with a knee injury. Marshall made a 15 yard reception but went down under Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore. Marshall was down on the field for several minutes.

Marshall said after the game: "I thought I was done. I thought I was going to be finishing in my backyard in Florida."

However, even though he departed the field with the help of trainers, he returned to the game and continued to tease the Bills' defense.

Fitzpatrick later said, "Brandon is one of the tougher guys you'll ever see. They were looking at his knee, and I didn't think it was good. To see him on the ground in pain, I knew something was wrong. But then, when he stepped back in the huddle later on, it was a big surprise, but relief as well."

Tyrod Taylor tried to get the Bills offense going, and completed 18 of 30 for 297 yards and three touchdowns, however, Buffalo were just too inconsistent throughout the night and lacked efficiency in their play.

Week 2 continues today and the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins will take to the field to start at 1 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream by clicking here.
