New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys is the big Sunday Night Football game as the NFL 2013 regular season gets well and truly underway tonight. Both teams are trying to get back to winning ways following disappointment last season, and will want to get off to a good start this season.

Coming into this game Tony Romo is celebrating receiving the biggest contract extension in franchise history. Of course that vote of confidence comes with a certain amount of pressure on him to deliver, but he probably should be used to the pressure in Dallas by now from the devoted Texas fan-base.

The Giants were hugely disappointing last season, and went out lamely, losing three of their last five games - when the crunch finally came they were unable to deliver – missing out on the playoffs entirely in their limp attempt to defend their Super Bowl title.

Expect fireworks tonight as these two long-time rivals come to blows again to open up the new season, but only one of these hugely competitive sides will be able to get off to the start they want.

The Cowboys come into this season having missed the playoffs for three seasons straight, and with a six year, $108 million contract for Romo they have put out a big sign to the rest of the NFL that they are looking to comeback into the reckoning again.
