New York Jets vs Arizona Cardinals live stream (ESPN info): Watch NFL Monday Night Football 2016 online

The New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals will clash on NFL Monday Night Football tonight in an important game for both teams as we move closer towards the midway point in the season. If teams are to make a dash to challenge for the postseason then the coming month will be vital, and both these teams will see this game as one they definitely will want to win to get into contention for the Playoff spots.

Tonight's big NFL Monday Night Football game between the New York Jets and the Arizona Cardinals has a scheduled start time of 8.30 p.m. ET and takes place from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The game can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through live stream via the link below.

This game will see Jets' coach Todd Bowles go up against his former head coach and mentor, Bruce Arians. And for the length of the game at least, there will be no consideration of friendships and loyalties, as the Jets and Cardinals go all out for the win.

The Jets' season is hanging on by the thinnest of threads right now as they come into this Week 6 game on just 1-4. A single win through the opening five weeks is scant return, and they will know if they don't turn things around fast, and in a big way, then their season could be over within a few more weeks.

Last time out the Jets were on the road to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and they were easily defeated 31-13 with the New York offense completely shut out for the second half.

They will need much better penetration in their offensive game today if they are to take anything away from Arizona.

Meanwhile the Cardinals are only doing slightly better. Last week they went on the road to the San Francisco 49ers and managed to claim just their second win of the season so far in a 33-21 game.

The Cardinals and 49ers were deadlocked 7-7 at half time in a tight and scrappy game. However, the second half saw the Cardinals move up a few gears as they piled on 26 second half points to gain an important victory.

They will want to see more of that second half performance today, and if they can be as efficient then they stand a good chance to get back to a level record today. At 2-3 the Cardinals enter Week 6 knowing their season could go either way in the coming few weeks, and they will know that leaving Monday Night Football at 3-3 will be a world away from dropping back down to 2-4.
