New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins live stream (CBS TV): Watch NFL 2015 football online (Game preview)
The New York Jets will play the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in Week 4 of the NFL 2015 regular season. This game has an earlier kick off time, and comes from Wembley Stadium in London with a capacity crowd expected to attend the big clash. The game has a start time of 9.30 a.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network, or online through live stream via the link below.
This all-AFC East clash could have big implications for both teams as to how their seasons will pan out. The Jets come into the game on 2-1 and need the win if they are to stand any hope of keeping up with the 3-0 New England Patriots. The Miami Dolphins Meanwhile are on 1-2 coming into this clash, and need the win just to get back to .500. A third loss of the season today would already put the Dolphins well on the road to being irrelevant to the postseason.
The Dolphins are a team in disarray, having suffered a 27 point defeat to the Buffalo Bills last week. More than the loss, the manner of the defeat will have been the most worrying; on both sides of the ball the Dolphins had numerous frailties cruelly exposed, and on the evidence of what was seen Miami have not really got any chance at competing with the Patriots for the division title this season.
Miami also visited London last year, and for many Dolphins fans it could feel like a case of deja vu. Last season they also came to London on the back of two horrible defeats, although last year they faced the Oakland Raiders - one of the worst teams in the league, and they were able to claim a win to snap their losing streak.
The Jets of this season do not look like the Raiders of last season, and New York have looked like they have big potential when they get things right. With two wins from their opening three weeks, if they can take own the Dolphins today then Jets fans will begin to feel optimistic that they can really compete this season.
Earlier this week, Thursday Night Football saw the Baltimore Ravens snap their losing run. The Ravens, entering the nationally televised game on 0-3, managed to steal the win in overtime, to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-20.
The game had looked like the Ravens were in for another painfully close loss. Over the opening three weeks they had lost games by small margins, and often because they had lost concentration for a period earlier in the game, and simply could not get over the line in their fight-backs.
In the second period in their game against the Steelers they looked like they had done the same thing, allowed Pittsburgh to pile on 10 unanswered points. Coming into the fourth quarter 20-14 down it looked like the Ravens were heading for another defeat and would move to 0-4. However, they finally managed to complete their fightback after failing three times already this season.
The Ravens pulled the game back to 20-20 late on to send the game to overtime, and with momentum on their side, they finally got over the line and completed their first win of the season. That result probably damages the Steelers more than it helps the Ravens though, but the game was a perfect way to get Week 4 underway, and now on Sunday there will be 13 more games taking place as the season becomes even clearer as to who will be competing and who will be falling down this year.
