Two teams coming off different results in their last games will meet at the FedExForum today, Saturday, when the Memphis Grizzlies host the New York Knicks.

The Grizzlies won their most recent game last Thursday, again stunning the Detroit Pistons as the game clock winded down in the fourth quarter to steal a 103–101 victory at home.

Point guard Mario Chalmers, who finished the game with 25 points to lead Memphis, hit the game-winning shot that sent Detroit packing.

Along with Chalmers, four more players scored in double-digits for the Grizzlies in the win.

Following him was center Marc Gasol who had 19 points that came along with five rebounds, four assists, two steals, and three blocks.

Forwards Matt Barnes and Jeff Green were offensive sparks from the second unit, tallying 18 and 16 points, respectively.

Veteran big man Zach Randolph added 13 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one steal in the win.

Despite facing struggles and inconsistencies this season, the Grizzlies are still sixth in the Western Conference standings with a 22–19 record.

The Knicks, on the other hand, were defeated by the Brooklyn Nets on the road in their last game, 110–104.

In the loss, New York missed star forward Carmelo Anthony who, in the game prior, suffered a right ankle sprain.

It is still uncertain if Anthony will play today and yet, another bad news hit the Knicks, with rookie Kristaps Porzingis also having an uncertain status because of a sore shoulder, the New York Daily News reported.

If the two cannot play, forward Derrick Williams can again carry the offensive load for New York just like what he did when they fell to Brooklyn.

Williams exploded for 31 points against the Nets, also having seven rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes of action.

The Knicks are currently 11th in the Eastern Conference standings with a 20–21 record, just a few games behind for the eighth spot currently held by the Boston Celtics (21–19).
