The National Football League (NFL) has officially required each team to wear Color Rush uniforms at least during their respective Thursday night game this season.

The Minnesota Vikings, however, have two for this run— first against the Detroit Lions (Nov. 24) and then the Dallas Cowboys (Dec. 1) – which meant that they may be wearing two different color schemes for each game.

These said color schemes appear to have been leaked online via NFL Leaks. In the match against the Lions on Thanksgiving, the leak suggests that fans will be treated with a "ketchup versus mustard" showing.

In the latter half of the previous season, NFL fans will remember that the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the St. Louis Rams had the same shade.

However, Freep debunks the leak and reports that the Lions won't be wearing the red uniform after all. "For those who asked about the red Color Rush rumors last week, that's not in the works for the Lions," Dave Birkett of Freep said.

The official Color Rush uniform that the Lions will don while taking on the Vikings this Thanksgiving will be unveiled next month, as per Detroit Lions president Rod Wood.

Last year, the Lions would have worn all-black during their Thanksgiving game against the Philadelphia Eagles. All-silver Color Rush uniforms were also considered, so it would not be surprising if they went with that for this year.

Fans saw the Lions wear red one time only and that was way back in the 1940s. While this does not translate to the possibility of the team clashing with the Vikings in the said color, the thought of a ketchup-mustard match excites fans.

According to the Daily Norseman, it will be far likely for the Lions to don the "traditional Honolulu Blue" instead should the Vikings end up wearing gold.

Meanwhile, for their match against the Cowboys, the leak indicates that the Vikings will go purple while the other team dons white Color Rush uniforms.
