There are already many rumors surrounding the highly anticipated Nintendo NX after it was confirmed that the Japanese company is officially working on it. Many were probably disappointed when the rumored NX controller turned out to be a hoax. Nonetheless, another set of rumors came out in the open, saying that an x86 architecture is going to be used for its system and that it will be backwards compatible as well as able to support an additional screen, to name a few of its rumored features.

A user named untypedhero shared on Reddit new information concerning the Nintendo NX. According to the user, the upcoming game console will also be able to back up a player's data to the Nintendo servers, which will likely be My Nintendo. It is also said that the NX will be able to interact with smart device apps and unlock reward points on My Nintendo.

"As promised, I've decided to share some more NX information with you. This is second-hand information from trusted sources (like last time) and I have little reason to doubt its validity," untypedhero said.

WCCFTech added that untypedhero also commented on a Reddit post about a new "Pokemon Sun/Pokemon Moon" clip that was supposedly aired last April 3. The user commented, "They won't show anything," and based on the discussion, yes, there was no new footage, just the announcement of 10 new Pokemon characters. So untypedhero seems to have connections and sources.

Previously, the Nintendo NX was rumored to be more powerful than the PlayStation 4. Many believe that it should be the case if Nintendo wants to compete head to head with the other big guys of console gaming.

Another rumor suggests that the NX is a handheld/console hybrid and that the handheld portion will be released this year, while the console version will be ready by 2017. If Nintendo can pull this hardware trick, it will be the first in the gaming console history.

It is also speculated that the upcoming console will be released in July. However, many think that the NX may be launched in fall to give more time for developers to create a good lineup of games.

Furthermore, it is said that Nintendo will be pushing more third-party developers to get involved with the NX, which has been a problem since the debut of the Wii. It is also speculated that Nintendo is looking forward to working with Activision, and being able to release "Destiny 2," a "Call of Duty" game, as well as a "Skylander" game.

Fans are wishing that Nintendo will be able to share some more information with regards to the NX at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, happening on June 14 to 16 in Los Angeles.
