Following the successful release of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6, it is now alleged that HMD will release its next Nokia brand of phone in the market, the Nokia 8, next month, and it is meant to take on Samsung Galaxy S8 and the highly anticipated iPhone 8.

Although the Nokia brand of phones is no longer manufactured by the same company that dominated the mobile phone industry from the late '90s to 2007, the name's return to the market has been a successful one. Now manufactured by HMD, Nokia, without question, is starting to recapture the hearts and money of those who are not only into the nostalgia brought about by the name but those who look for quality smartphones without breaking the bank.

With the successful market re-entry of Nokia via the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6, tech pundits are now keeping an eye on the next Nokia phone that HMD will release in the market: the alleged Nokia 8, which others believe to be called the Nokia P1. On the other hand, there are some of those who believe that neither of the two alleged names will be the final one.

Whether it will be called the Nokia 8, Nokia P1, or another name, there is no denying the world tech world is highly anticipating its release. If the rumors turn out to be more than just rumors, the world will find out what the next Nokia phone will have to offer, and if it stands a chance against the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the upcoming iPhone 8 next month.

According to rumors, the Nokia 8/Nokia P1 will be HMD's flagship Nokia phone. Reportedly, the upcoming mobile device will sport a unibody design that is almost bezel-less. It is alleged to pack the yet-to-be announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU and offer 256 GB storage variant that will carry a price tag of $900.

As it is said that HMD is planning to pit the Nokia 8 against the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the upcoming iPhone 8, it is understandable why it is rumored to have a high price tag. However, these rumors can only be confirmed once the Nokia 8 is released, hopefully in June, indeed.
