The Oklahoma City Thunder find themselves without a head coach right now after that celebrated firing of long time head coach Scott Brooks.

Brooks was given the pink slip Wednesday just after the Thunder failed to make the NBA playoffs. Brooks is best known for leading the Thunder to the 2011-12 finals where the Thunder bowed to the Miami Heat.

With injuries alternating on Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant, Brook simply could not come with an antidote to keep the Thunder together. And with that, the Thunder are looking to move on but with another head coach.

Rumors have it that the Thunder are have two names in mind. One is UCONN coach Kevin Ollie and the other is the seemingly most sought after coach these days, Billy Donovan.

Ollie has already shot down rumors that he will be taking over from Brooks and that he would continue to focus his job at UCONN. Of course all that could change with the NBA break carrying many possibilities, including a sudden change of direction for Ollie.

But one of the more hot names being eyed for an NBA coaching job is really Billy Donovan. Donovan could have been currently coaching in the NBA right now but backed out at the last minute to stay with the Gators.

Aside from the OKC Thunder, the Orlando Magic are said to be once again interested in Donovan as well as the Denver Nuggets who fired previous head coach Brian Shaw.

With Brooks out, the scenario all the more becomes complicated on where Donovan could land. Of the three however, the Thunder could be an interesting favorite considering you have two of the NBA's best players at your disposal.

So will it be Ollie or Donovan?

If Ollie stands firm on his decision to stay put in UCONN, the most likely scenario is seeing Sam Presti and the Thunder aggressively pursuing Donovan. Of course, they still have the Magic and the Nuggets to contend with.
