It's Cruella de Vil's turn to get her own happy ending, and she will do so by kidnapping Emma as well as Regina's son Henry. In the upcoming episode titled "Sympathy for the De Vil," the spotlight is on the villain of extreme glamor and undue wickedness. 

The new "Once Upon A Time" installment will hark back to Cruella's dark past and will clear up for viewers the reason she is looking for her happy ending in Storybrooke. Victoria Smurfit, who plays Cruella in the series, has revealed to Zap2it that the Author has something to do with it. 

"[The show] has taken her back to 1920s England and that's where the tale begins as a young woman," the actress explained. "She's got this history with the Author that will play out. [He] and Cruella have a life that they've lived and he holds something over Cruella that she wants." 

The synopsis for the "Once Upon A Time" episode may give an idea about that connection. The Dalmatian kidnapper's origin will be retold, and ABC says that her history of being terrorized by her mom with the dogs she now abducts was ended with help from a "mysterious stranger" who popped out of nowhere and empowered her. 

"Now we'll find out exactly what it is that Cruella is looking for to get back and the Author is the key," Smurfit also told Zap2it. "He's the key to Regina for her happy ending and to maintain her goodness but he's just as important to Cruella and her twisty tale."

Speaking of Regina and going back to Henry, "Once Upon A Time" will also show the former team up with Emma to save the latter from Cruella, who tells them to "do exactly as she says" for her happy ending to finally catch up with her.

"Once Upon A Time" season 4 episode 19 "Sympathy for the De Vil" will air on April 19.
