"Once Upon a Time" season 4 ended with Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) sacrificing herself, turning her into the new Dark One. That doesn't sit well with her parents Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) but the two won't necessarily agree on ways to save their daughter. 

According to a report from PopSugar, the actors have not been given a complete scipt as of the time of writing but they have explained that there will be tension between Snow and Charming in season 5. The two might have very different views on how Swan can be saved from the Darkness. 

"Oh, yes we are going to be tested," Goodwin said, to which Dallas added, "I think you can bet on some tension between Snow and Charming." 

Charming might be experiencing tough times with his wife while trying to rescue his daughter but he will be developing a more favorable relationship with one of the new characters in season 5. During the interview, it was explained that Charming and King Arthur (Liam Gariggan) will have a strong connection. 

"I think creator Adam Horowitz said it is part present and future," explained Dallas. "Camelot is happening right now. In terms of Charming, you are going to see a bromance with King Arthur, and you are going to see Charming at his most heroic." 

Fan speculation buzzing around the Internet is that the only way to save Emma is found in Camelot, which is why the heroes befriend King Arthur and his court. However, they will need to seek the aid of Merlin, who is to be played by Elliot Knight. 

Actress Amy Manson has also been cast to play Merida from Disney and Pixar's "Brave."

"Once Upon a Time" season 5 is scheduled to premiere this Sept. 27.
