'Once Upon a Time' season 4 spoilers: Elsa gets framed, Snow Queen strikes and the Knave wanders in

Apart from her missing sister, Elsa will be face to face with a much more wicked trouble.ABC

ABC's "Once Upon A Time" is back with a third episode in its fourth season. The upcoming episode will be entitled "Rocky Road", which will also be the perfect phrase to use in describing the situations Storybrooke residents are in.

Elsa may have warmed up to the Charming family and was even accompanied by Emma (Jennifer Morrison) in looking for Anna. But more trouble befalls on her with an evil scheme by the most unlikely person.

Elsa (Georgina Haig) will get in trouble, all in the icy hands of the Snow Queen (Elizabeth Mitchell) sharing the same (or may be stronger) ice-cold abilities. The evil queen will frame Elsa up for casting an 'icy spell' to Marian (Christie Lang) that will freeze and kill her. And not a single Storybrooke resident will think that the owner of the ice cream parlor, who they know is not much more than someone who freezes dairy, may be the one to blame. Her reason for her wickedness is yet to be revealed.

The episode will also take us to Arendelle once more with Elsa's flashbacks. Kristoff (Scott Michael Foster) will convince Elsa not to go looking for her sister, Anna (Elizabeth Lail), who he knows can take care of herself. This time, Elsa and Kristoff will go after Hans (Tyler Jacob Moore) and his fetish for insatiable power.

Apart from the frosty mishap, the characters have other issues to deal with. Emma and David (Josh Dallas) will apprehend former Merry Men and Knave of Hearts, Will Scarlet, who seems to continue practicing Hood's teachings when he was caught rummaging through his tent.

Meanwhile, Henry (Jared Gilmore) will help Regina (Lana Parilla) to find the author of the fairytale book while Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle)'s trickeries are no longer a secret to Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), who discovered the deception.

In this episode, the new mayor is in town in the person of Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin).

Catch all the action in the new "Once Upon A Time" episode that will air Oct. 12. If you miss the premiere episode, be sure to watch it online via live stream on ABC.
