One body to worship one God at BigChurchDayOut

|PIC1|If your idea of a perfect day out is getting together with other people to worship the living God and celebrate His love for all, then you might just want to get yourself over to TheBigChurchDayOut this May.

With one of the last ever UK appearances from Delirious? before they part ways, this is one festival you do not want to miss.

Other top worship leaders joining the occasion are Michael W Smith, Israel Houghton, Graham Kendrick, Yfriday, Cathy Burton, Lou Fellingham and the much celebrated Kings Chamber Orchestra. There will also be a few words and thoughts shared from Steve Chalke and Alpha's Jamie Haith.

The day of worship is set against the beautiful backdrop of Wiston House in Steyning, West Sussex, and ideal for a family day out, with a prayer tent run by the 24-7 Prayer Team, a B-stage for younger bands, and the J24-7 kids team offering a programme for the 5 to 11-year-olds. There'll also be locally produced food available, country walks, and cups of tea on the lawn set against the eloquent sounds of the King's Chamber orchestra.

Organisers are hoping TheBigChurchDayOut will serve as a platform for building relationships and strengthening connections between the church and anyone wanting to know more.

"We're used to meeting in small groups and then in bigger ones at church, but what about when we gather together to have a large celebration?" said Tim Jupp, a founding member of Delirious? and chief organiser of TheBigChurchDayOut.

"Perhaps this has been missing of late. There’s huge support from all over, big organisations down to local churches. It’s been too long since we all got together as a church family, and TheBigChurchDayOut gives all of us an opportunity to share in the good stuff of all that we believe, accompanied by an amazing soundtrack in front of a stunningly beautiful backdrop."
