"One Piece" chapter 893 is expected to feature another heated battle between Luffy and Big Mom's Sweet Commander, Katakuri. Based on the latest spoilers, the Straw Hat pirate will be having a hard time taking down his opponent in the Mirror World, although there could be a light at the end of the tunnel as Luffy discovers a new powerful technique.

The latest plot predictions for "One Piece" chapter 893 in Naruto Forums suggest that Luffy will stop at nothing to unlock a new Haki to use against Katakuri. To note, Luffy is determined to awaken a new technique, which he believes he can achieve only by facing Katakuri the second time around inside the Mirror World. Unfortunately, fighting Katakuri in his revitalized state is not a piece of cake, and the previous chapter saw Luffy dead-beaten by the Sweet Commander.

The fans are speculating that Luffy will be able to master his new Observation Haki from the battle against Katakuri. However, there is a possibility that the Straw Hat leader will not only just unlock a Haki similar to Katakuri. Instead, the series' protagonist will surprise everyone by reaching the Gear 5th technique. Some fans are skeptical that he will be able to surpass his current Gear 4th form, but if he does, this could be enough to defeat not only Katakuri, but also the fearsome female Yonkou herself, Big Mom.

Outside the Mirror World, it is rumored that Big Mom's rampage in the Thousand Sunnies ship will be stopped by Sanji and his newly-baked wedding cake. By tasting a delicious pastry, Big Mom's tantrums will be over, and there is hope that the notorious pirate leader will let the Straw Hat pirates escape from the Cake Island peacefully. That said, there are other groups who might be only waiting for the opportunity to attack, especially if Big Mom calms down after eating the cake.

"One Piece" chapter 893 is expected to be released sometime next week.
