The release details of "One Punch Man" season 2 remain scarce, yet several speculations are already making rounds regarding the possible plot of the Japanese anime series.

Since the announcement of the development of "One Punch Man" season 2 during the "One Punch Man" Fall Festival in Saitama, Japan back in September, as reported by Anime News Network, fans of the anime series are already looking forward to learning more details about the upcoming season.

While Madhouse studio and season 1 director Shingo Natsume continue to be tight-lipped about the show, rumors claim that the protagonist Saitama will soon meet his biggest weakness after falling in love. According to the rumors, Saitama will either have difficulties winning the heart of the woman that he will fall in love with, or he will get involved in a complicated love triangle.

There are no details about the identity of the person who will capture Saitama's affection. But there are two women from the first season who could make Saitama fall in love. One of them is the Tornado of Terro, Tatsumaki, while the other one could be her younger sister, Fubuki, also known as the Blizzard of Hell.

Among the two sisters, Tatsumaki is known for being an arrogant S-class rank 2 hero, who is often focused on her job. On the other hand, the younger but more mature looking Fubuki is known to be a B-class hero, but she has a tendency to display her inferiority complex.

However, there could also be a chance to see Saitama fall in love with a different character who is yet to be introduced in the series.

Another rumor claims that Saitama will also encounter a new villain who could match his unbeatable prowess.

The air date details of "One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to be announced before the end of the year.
