The OnePlus 5T has only been in the market for roughly a month, but speculations are now up for its successor, the OnePlus 6. It was previously thought that the OnePlus 6 would come out this year as a follow-up to OnePlus 5, but it turned out that the latter would be getting an iterative "T" upgrade instead. This time around, the OnePlus 6 is featured in a concept video, showing sleek improvements in design that could be applied by the handset maker next year.

The OnePlus 6 concept video was created by a YouTube user known as Concept Creator, Android Headlines reported. To note, the concept rendering of the future OnePlus device is based only on the artist's personal insights. The public can confirm if Concept Creator's ideas will match OnePlus' actual plans on the OnePlus 6 when the smartphone is released in mid-2018, possibly in June. As the OnePlus 5T serves as the company's second flagship handset to be released within the year, it would probably take another six or seven months until a new premium OnePlus device is born.

The concept video shows the entire body of OnePlus 6 composed of metal. The rear view of the visualized render shows the signature red OnePlus logo, which is near a vertically-aligned dual-lens camera setup. The description states that the dual camera is a combination of a 16MP and 12MP image sensors with f/1.6 aperture. Both camera lenses are packed with OIS feature.

Based on the OnePlus 6 concept design, the smartphone will have an even slimmer bezels that the OnePlus 5T, which is already known for its immersive all-screen display. It is not only the reduced bezels that makes this OnePlus 6 design unique, but the entire body of the device is completely different from the OnePlus 5T. For one, the rear portion's edges are not as curved as those in the OnePlus 5T, and some could even see the edges as flat at the first glance. The front display of OnePlus 6 has rounded corners, while the power and lock keys are now located on the right-hand side.

Speaking of the power and lock key features, the OnePlus 6 concept video introduces a rare feature by making these physical keys embedded with a fingerprint reader. Meanwhile, there is an extra key added on the right portion, which is used to access the camera.
