'Orphan Black' season 4 premiere date, spoilers: Tatiana Maslany begins work for new season

Tatiana Maslany is already filming for the fourth season of "Orphan Black," which means that more updates about the Project LEDA clones and their enemies will start pouring in soon.

BBC America recently revealed that the cast and crew of "Orphan Black" started shooting in Toronto early this week to finish the 10 new episodes for season 4.

Based on the synopsis of the upcoming installment of the sci-fi drama, Sarah Manning (Maslany) will return home from Iceland against her will so she can find the mysterious new ally who will help her deal with the original clone Beth Childs. She will have to trace Beth's past relationship with a potentially dangerous new enemy to keep her and her clone sisters safe. Yet she will find herself alienated from the bond that she managed to form with her sisters and start to succumb to her old habits as they go on separate ways to fulfill their duties.

Though the synopsis did not reveal much about the plot of the upcoming season, it mentions that Beth will once again become a major part of the storyline even if she already ended her life in the pilot episode of the series. She also appeared during the previous season through Sarah's dreams, which helped her understand why the Project LEDA was formed.

But based on the synopsis, Sarah's forbidden activities will return as the pressure to save the project and Beth's sisters' lives intensifies. This means that the character will undergo major challenges and temptations this time.

"Orphan Black" season 4 will also see the return of Jordan Gavaris as Sarah foster brother Felix, Maria Doyle Kennedy as their foster mom Mrs. S, Kristian Bruun as Alison's husband Donnie, Kevin Hanchard as Beth's detective partner Art , Skyler Wexler as Sarah's struggling daughter Kira, Ari Millen as the male version of the LEDA clone, and Josh Vokey as Scott.

"Orphan Black" season 3 is slated to premiere in spring 2016.
