Tatiana Maslany might be the only one who portrays the role of all the LEDA sestras in "Orphan Black," but the actress revealed that all the characters will have different fates in season 5.

In an interview with TV Guide during the red carpet event at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards, Maslany stated that her characters in the critically-acclaimed sci-fi drama will end up in various ways on the show's fifth and final season. "Some of them might not be happy, and some of them might be ... a little tragic," the Canadian actress said.

Some of the sestras were last seen in ugly situations at the end of "Orphan Black" season 4. Cosima and Sarah's lives are in danger after being stabbed by Rachel, while Alison and Helena were both kept in a safe place. But things could become worse once the series returns next season.

However, when asked who she will miss portraying the most after the end of the series, Maslany revealed that she will probably find it hard to say goodbye to Helena or Alison.

According to the actress, the said characters allow her to push her limits by making her do weird stuff. "Like Helena, the character, I get to be a bit of an animal creature and do the things that we're not supposed to do in everyday society. That's always fun as an actor, to make a mess and freak people out a little!" the actress said.

Meanwhile, co-showrunner Graeme Manson revealed in an interview with TVLine that they will continue exploring different branches of modern science in the new season of "Orphan Black." But this year, they will try to delve into the topic of "prolongevity and life extension."

BBC America has yet to reveal the official release date of "Orphan Black" season 5, but the show's final season is expected to return to the small screen in 2017.
