A new animated show, which is titled "Our Cartoon President," will be coming out later in January, and it will parody the US commander-in-chief Donald J. Trump (voiced by Jeff Bergman) and the people close to him.

The trailer for the upcoming political comedy was released just recently, and it shows Donald in the White House watching the news in bed with his wife Melania. "Fake news. Fake news. Fake weather," he says as he switches from one channel to the next.

Meanwhile, his wife just looks at him as she holds his hand. Donald looks at her and asks, "Why are you looking at me? There's a TV in the room." Apparently, the show will delve into the President and First Lady's relationship and take some light-hearted jabs at it.

It will also highlight Donald's relationship with his sons Eric and Donald Jr. "Remember when everyone said that you were the dumbest person in the world? Then we showed up on TV and they were like, 'We spoke too soon,'" Donald Jr. says to his father in the Oval Office. Eric then adds excitedly, "We can be your new spokesmen!"

The show's creator Stephen Colbert recently shared at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, "I am well aware of how fast the news moves these days. The show does not exist to serve that. The show is the interpersonal relationships of the people you don't get to see."

He further added that the comedy will be a more narrative and character-driven take on the President. It remains to be seen how the Trump administration, or even the president himself, will react to the new show later this month.

The first episode of "Our Cartoon President" will be available On Demand on Sunday, Jan. 28. The regular run will start two weeks later on Feb. 11, at 8 p.m. EST on Showtime.
