Ever since the introduction of the Public Test Realm (PTR) to "Overwatch," players have found a way to appreciate all the upcoming updates. Of course, this one here is more than just that. It was developed for players gain access to new features and help Blizzard Entertainment decide whether or not they are ripe for release on the official servers.

As announced on the official site of "Overwatch," the latest PTR update has just been released by the studio. It is out now on the PC platform, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One getting the same update via a patch. This is because the PTR is only available on the PC version of the game.

The patch notes for the aforementioned update involve general changes and tweaks. For instance, players now have the ability to disable secondary fire and secondary weapons all at once in the title's custom games. Add to this the option to turn off one of the ultimates of Symmetra, leaving the other one activated.

Blizzard also introduced a number of changes for some "Overwatch" characters. Among them are Genji and Hanzo, whose wall-climbing ability's attack cooldowns have been removed. As a result, players will now be able to attack their opponents after climbing a wall. As what Blizzard said, this should "make wall-climbing feel better."

GameSpot reports that Orisa, Reinhardt, Soldier: 76 and Reaper are also getting changes via the PTR update in "Overwatch." Orisa, in particular, will receive a decrease in Fusion Driver damage while the cooldown of the Protective Barrier now stands at 8 seconds. While these changes may be debatable, it is worth noting that they are not final.

The "Overwatch" PTR update also brought fixes to known bugs and issues. One of which caused Tracer to move oddly during the start of the tutorial. There is also a fix for a bug that allows Sombra to move outside of the playspace in the Watchpoint: Gibraltar map.
