Does anyone want to see a part 2 of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao fight?

For the past weeks, the answer has been divided. Some want to see Pacquiao fight Mayweather once again and at 100%. Others however are adamant, preferring pass on seeing the two boxers in the aftermath of a very boring fight.

But seeing that the event racked in close to $600 million in revenue, the camps of both fighters are apparently in the middle of talks for a Mayweather-Pacquiao 2. According to an unnamed source, negotiations are already underway and that the sequel will be held at the MGM-AEG arena which is set to open next year.

Mayweather has initially announced that he intends to fight one last time in September as ye targets Rocky Marciano's record of 49-0. He says it will be a non-title bout since he plans to surrender all the titles before he officially retires. On whether this would indeed be his last fight or not will remains to be seen.

On the other hand, Pacquiao is recovering from surgery on his right shoulder and is expected to be out for several months. The earliest he may come back to the ring may be by the second quarter of 2016.

Mayweather had initially offered a rematch to Pacquiao after he makes full recovery but retracted the idea several days afterwards when Pacquiao started to reason out that he was fighting with only one good hand.

This drew the ire of Mayweather, calling Pacquiao a coward and a sore loser. Pacquiao claims he won about 7 rounds of that fight and that he got the raw end of the deal.

While some critics may agree that Pacquiao did win some bouts, the thing is many believe he did get outboxed by Mayweather. Apparently this is what is ticking off Mayweather since Pacquiao did not want to admit he lost to the undefeated boxer.

As for the rematch, such are rumors and may be somehow true. But like the road to the first match which took about five years to set, only one man can announce if a rematch will indeed materialize. And that man is no other than Floyd Mayweather Jr. who, as before, wants to be the one to make the offciail announcement.
