Small video game developer company Phantom 8 has been releasing more and more trailers for their upcoming game "Past Cure." With just a few months before its official release in the market, Phantom 8 has released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the different combat styles available in the game.

Anyone who has already read about some teasers for "Past Cure" would know that it is mostly a stealth game. However, nobody really knew how this element of stealth would be applied to combat, until the recently released trailer.

The video focused on a mission where Ian, the protagonist of the game, needs to get out of a basement where it is currently locked down by the enemy. There are guards walking around when Ian suddenly uses this sort of astral projection to see the surroundings of the basement. In the trailer, it was even through this astral projection that he was able to take down a security camera, so players can assume he has some sort of telekinesis with it as well.

Ian also has this other supernatural ability to slow down time, or rather, heighten his senses, which then slows down time in the game. As the trailer reveals, this is the perfect skill when there are a lot of enemies ganging up on Ian, as this ability would allow him to focus and kill the enemies one by one.

However, the video trailer suggests that this power is not quite unlimited. After all, that would be too imbalanced as well. There is apparently a meter on the screen that puts Ian into hallucinations once it reaches zero, as per Worth Playing.

"Past Cure" is a story about how Ian rediscovers his identity after being experimented on by people he now aims to find. The game will be released on Feb. 2, 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
