Paul Walker Dead: Actor died during charity event in fiery car crash today
Paul Walker, star of "The Fast and the Furious" movie series, has died in a fiery car accident today.
The 40-year-old actor tragically died Saturday afternoon in a car crash in southern California, according to TMZ.
Walker was reportedly a passenger in a car when the driver lost control of the Porsche in Santa Clarita and crashed into a tree, with the car exploding into flames. The driver was a friend of Walker's who also died at the scene.
The actor was attending an event for his charity organization Reach Out Worldwide when the incident occured.
His death has been confirmed on his Twitter and Facebook accounts with the message:

Walker became famous for his role in hit film Varsity Blues in 1999. He played the role of Brian O'Conner in The Fast and the Furious film series.
Walker was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and graduated from Village Christian School.
Walker passed away in the middle fo the filming for The Fast and the Furious 7.
