Perry Noble, the disgraced pastor who was forcibly removed from his duties as senior pastor of the NewSpring Church, has returned with the Second Chance Church. He launched the new church online with a message preaching that second chances are for all people.

The new church was launched online on Sunday, Dec. 3. Noble posted a Facebook video of himself delivering the church's first sermon called "So I Screwed Up, Now What?"

Despite the lack of a physical location and physical connections between people, the Second Chance Church is beginning to gather followers. According to Noble, he is still looking for a physical location in Anderson, South Carolina, where the activities of his new church could be held.

The main message of his new church, which also ties to its name, is based on Noble's experience with NewSpring Church. In 2016, Noble was removed from the megachurch, citing his struggles with alcohol addiction and neglect of his family duties as reasons for his ouster. At the time, NewSpring Church was the second fastest growing church in the United States.

NewSpring continues to be South Carolina's largest church, with over 30,000 members in 17 cities within the state. However, it suffered some losses in membership when Noble was removed from its leadership.

In his first sermon for Second Chance Church, Noble shared some of his experiences while dealing with the issues that caused his removal.

"There have been days when I have just felt down and defeated," he said. "People say 'you shouldn't be in ministry anymore, you shouldn't preach anymore.'"

According to Noble, it was at that point that a friend reminded him of the Bible verse Romans 11:29, which says, "For God's gifts, and His call, are irrevocable."

Noble said that the message he received from God was that it was time to step into his second chance, and now he is calling others to do the same.
