Pink is looking strong with her seventh album, as it nears reaching the top spot in the UK. The singer is also slated for this year's biggest debut by a woman.

The 38-year-old singer's "Beautiful Trauma" album was just released on Oct. 13, Friday, but it is already proving that it is heading for the win. In Britain, Forbes reported that the album was well on its way to the top, as it garnered roughly 50,000 sales halfway through the chart week. Pink's fifth release, "Funhouse," was her first album to become No. 1 in Britain.

Analysts noticed how well the audience have welcomed the album and predicted that in the United States, the album "will launch at No. 1 on the chart with over 300,000 equivalent album units." If the Billboard 200 predictions were right, the "What About Us" singer might just bag the biggest week of 2017 for an album by a woman.

The last musician to have sold more than 300,000 units in a week was Beyonce. In 2016, the album "Lemonade" secured an impressive 653,000 sales for the first week. The second week saw 321,000 units sold.

"Beautiful Trauma" will be the second album for Pink, or Alecia Beth Moore in real life, to have gained the top spot in the United States. It was released by record label RCA Records. Songs from this album include "What About Us," "But We Lost It," and "Revenge," which is a collaboration with rapper Eminem. Her first album to hit No. 1 was "The Truth About Love," which was released in 2012.

Billboard 200 is a list of albums based on the weekly sales, as well as streams and digital sales. The release of the ranking will be on Nov. 4, Saturday. The top 10 is expected to be posted on Billboard's website on Oct. 22, Sunday.
