Google may just have made headphones that can be used for more than listening. The tech company has longed to create a pair of headphones that can be helpful and finally, they did.

With the new Google Pixel Buds, users can not only listen to their favorite songs but also use the headphones as a gateway to a myriad of information without having to look at their phone.

Aside from great audio quality, the earbuds are easy to charge, offer real-time help from Google Assistant and sports features that separate it from other wireless headphones.

The Pixel Buds is slated to be launched in November and will be available in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia and Singapore. Consumers can sign up on Google's online store to reserve a pair of Pixel Buds which costs $159.

During Google's hardware gala last week, the tech giant said that the Pixel Buds were designed to fit, have charging abilities and device pairing.

Google created a unique loop in the earbud's fabric that enhances comfort and security but also allows adjustments without having to change the pieces. The audio controls can be found on the right earbud, removing the need to put buttons on the cord. Users can simply swipe forward or backward to control the device's audio level and tap to play or pause the music.

With regard to battery life and storage, the Pixel Buds can be charged in its pocket-sized charging case. The size of the charging-case is small enough to be tucked away. The battery is touted to last up to 24 hours but this will still depend on the individual's usage.

Android devices running on Android 7.0 Nougat only need to open the charging the case of the Pixel Buds and it should automatically sync with the earbuds.

Aside from this, the Pixel Buds are also equipped with Google Assistant that can make phone calls, provide directions, calendar alerts and even read text messages. The Pixel Buds has also been integrated with Google Translator. The feature can act as real-time translator and can translate between 40 different languages instantly. Presently, only Buds that are paired with the Pixel 2 can avail of the feature.
