Good news for the Xbox One users — Bluehole's online game "PlayerUnknown's Battleground" ("PUBG") is about to hit the Microsoft video game console.

At the recent Paris Games Week, the video game's developer, Bluehole, revealed that the multiplayer online battle royale will be released on Dec. 12 for $30. The mentioned platform's gamers can start playing "PlayerUnknown's Battleground" through Xbox Game Preview program.

"PlayerUnknown's Battleground" released on Xbox One will also coincide with the unveiling of the title's 1.0 PC version in the same month. However, the game developer noted via GameSpot that the game console and PC versions of the title will have its "own separate roadmaps." Also, it will be different from one another.

"We're approaching development on Xbox One with the same community-driven focus that we've taken with the game on PC," Bluehole VP and executive producer Chang Han Kim said in a statement on Xbox Wire. Hence, the "ultimate battle royale" that fans are going to experience on the Microsoft platform will be way different compared to what earlier players used to know.

Talking about "PlayerUnknown's Battleground" success, its developer Brendan Greene told CNet that they don't really care about numbers. Instead, they are focusing more on creating a good game. Although a lot of people do not believe this claim, the game speaks for itself.

"PlayerUnknown's Battleground" has 100 players — the user and the other 99 gamers. They are set to land on a "weapon-littered" ground by parachuting from a couple of planes. The player will then pick up his desired weapon and fight for his life until he died.

The player has to stay within the blue electric field that keeps on dwindling as the fight goes on. From here, there will be emerging enemies that will try to kill the main gamer. With this kind of gameplay, "PlayerUnknown's Battleground" has captured the interest and attention of a lot of game console users.

Thus, a lot of people are now waiting for its release on Xbox One. "PUBG" was released in March through Stream and was only available on PC. In just seven months, it already has captured 18 million players.
