The top-selling titles for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 3 (PS3) and the PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) for the month of July have now been officially revealed.

These top-sellers are only for the North American version of the PlayStation Store.

Starting off with PS4, claiming the top spot for the month of July is "Journey." The indie title from developer Thatgamecompany managed to snag the top spot despite only being released back in July 21.

Coming in at number two is another indie title, "Bastion." In this case, "Bastion's" spot among the best-sellers for July may have just as much to do with the game itself as with the discount offered to people who wanted to purchase the game. "Bastion" was on sale for $3.45 in July, according to Gamespot.

Rounding out the rest of the top five best-selling games for July on PS4 are more established titles such as "Batman: Arkham Knight," "Minecraft," and the popular massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG), "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," respectively.

The story on PS3 is a little bit different. Instead of a pair of indie titles topping the charts, more well-known games are the ones populating the top spots, with "Minecraft" tallying another strong finish at number one. Following right after "Minecraft," is another successful title in "Mortal Kombat X." Finishing third is the fighting game "J-Stars Victory VS+," with "Grand Theft Auto V" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" ending up in fourth and fifth place respectively, according to iDigital Times.

Finally, finishing atop the list of the best-selling titles for the PS Vita in July is none other than "J-Stars Victory VS+." Another familiar title ended up in second in "Minecraft." Placing third for the PS Vita is the role-playing title "Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth 1." In fourth place is "Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate" and ranking fifth is "Mortal Kombat X."
