PlayStation Plus free games September 2016 predictions: Multiplayer game The Tomorrow Children expected to be on next month's roster

With September just around the corner, subscribers of Playstation Plus are already quite excited about what free games may be in store for them in a few days' time.

With last month's free games resulting in much negative feedback and disappointed fans, Sony vowed to make it up to their subscribers by releasing a better line up of games for September.

"We are aware that this title has previously been made available as part of the service in 2012 and had not intended to offer it again. We have now looked into and addressed this issue to ensure that it does not happen in the future," it posted on the Playstation blog

After learning that Retro/Grade was made part of the lineup, subscribers complained that it was already a previously released title, leading the company to switch it up with Tom Clancy's Endwar from Ubisoft.

According to rumors, Sony will be including in the September roster The Tomorrow Children as part of an early access Founders Pack, which comprises PSN Avatars, special costumes, level one arms, tools licenses, Eagle Corp, Jetpack and 1,000 Freeman dollars for good measure.

The game is developed by Q-Games, which also developed the PixelJunk series, and revolves around a storyline that happens in the Cold War. Mankind is at the mercy of monster invaders and must work together to survive, making for a good multiplayer experience.

The rumors that this game, which is set for release in September, would be included in the line up may be because of a similar incident in July where Sony released Paragon in free to play along with a $20 starter pack.
