With "Pokemon GO" still unwavering in its popularity, fans are excited that Niantic Labs has hinted that the second generation Pokemon will be added to the original 151 initially available when the game was first released.

According to the Parent Herald, it is the best time for players to stock up on certain Pokemon candies as some of the originals will have their new evolutions available once Niantic implements the second generation for "Pokemon GO."

Right now, the most highly-anticipated new evolutions is for Eevee, since it will have two more evolutions on the upcoming new generation: Espeon and Umbreon. As fans can remember, Espeon is a Psychic-type Pokemon who was evolved by reaching a certain level during the day. Umbreon, however, is a Dark-type Pokemon evolved by reaching the same level during the night. As such, it would be interesting how players can evolve Eevee to these, since there was a method for players to evolve this Pokemon to Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon.

Another highly-coveted Second Generation Pokemon is Steelix, which evolves from Onix. A lot of players actually say that this Pokemon has the highest defensive capabilities compared to most, but it is expected for it to have low stamina and attack to balance out its combat capabilities.

With the overabundance of Zubats in "Pokemon GO," a lot of players are expecting Crobat to be released among the Second Generation as a third evolution for Golbats. With this, it is highly-anticipated how much candies Niantic will charge in order to evolve Golbat to a Crobat.

Meanwhile, Polygon reports that Niantic has started permanently banning players using various cheating methods to gain undue advantage. Niantic said that they want "Pokemon GO" to be a fair, fun and legitimate game experience for everyone, hence the harsh and brutal bans for those using GPS spoofing, bots and third party tracking software that started since last week.
