"Pokemon GO" has launched the Ho-Oh raid in the augmented reality application game. The legendary Pokemon will be available for raid until Dec. 12. Niantic Labs awarded "Pokemon GO" players after managing to catch over 500 million Pokemon in only two days.

Niantic Labs made the announcement through "Pokemon GO's" Twitter account. The game developing company posted the Global Catch Challenge for Ho-Oh video with the caption, "Thanks to all your hard work last week, Ho-Oh will appear in Raid Battles until 12/12!"

The raid will be the usual 20-member salvo to overpower the legendary Pokemon and catch it. Ho-Oh is now available worldwide. Ho-Oh has 48276 CP, and Niantic Labs decided to include the Pokemon in the normal raid rather than as an EX Raid that requires a special invitation. Ho-Oh's quick moves are Steel Wing and Extrasensory. The best move of Ho-Oh is the Brave Bird, which is a charge move.

Several videos of gamers engaging in the Ho-Oh raid and catching the legendary Pokemon are uploaded on YouTube.

Most of the videos show that the raid is fairly easy with a strong party. The bonus challenge, which is catching Ho-Oh, is also easy as revealed in FsuAtl's raid video. It took FsuAtl three Golden Razz Berry and four Pokeballs to catch Ho-Oh. The legendary Pokemon's CP during the bonus challenge is only 2180.

Most of the videos applaud Niantic Labs for including Ho-Oh under the normal raid. Gamers advise other players to proceed to big cities in order to locate the Ho-Oh raid and be able to catch them.

Ho-Oh is a legendary Pokemon from the video game "Pokemon Gold." Ho-Oh's counterpart in the Johto region is Lugia from "Pokemon Silver." Lugia has been catchable since July 2017. 

Ho-Oh is  the combination of three Pokemon types -- legendary, fire, and flying.

Next for "Pokemon GO" is the anticipated Christmas event. However, there are still no information about this year's event released by Niantic.
